The heart of our ministry is to plant and nurture healthy local churches led by local indigenous leaders.

The mission of our ministry is to grow those churches so they can become sending churches and in turn plant more churches.

Church Location

After locating an area without a church nearby, our team rents a facility in the heart of a neighborhood.

Evangelism Phase

We then reach out to people there, get to know them, and try to discover and fulfill the needs of the community.

How we reach children:

• Free English or German language courses, using the Bible as a textbook

• Math tutoring classes throughout the year

• Fine arts classes throughout the year

• Summer camps (During summer, we offer children free classes in English, German, guitar, piano, drama, art, and crafting for four hours a day, five days a week for two months in a row.)

How we reach teenagers:

• Pairing American Christian teenagers with Albanian non-believing teenagers to have online discussions about faith and fellowship.

How we reach adults:

• Online English classes, pairing one American believer with one Albanian non-believer.

• Marriage and parenting classes.

• Free medical help.

• Street evangelism.

Discipleship phase

As we see new people come to saving faith, we start the gathering of the Saints. Personally and intensively, we are committed to training them in sound doctrine.

Partnership phase

Since the church in Albania is made up of first-generation Christians, there is a need for mentorship. This can be provided by a healthy partnership between the newchurch plant and an existing church that has the capacity and experience to help out for an extended period of time.

Establishing indigenous leadership.

We’re always looking for potential future leaders among the local believers. We are committed to personally training them in a systematic and concise way so they will be prepared to be elders of the church.

Departing

Usually, it will take between 5 to 7 years to see a church plant established and self-sufficient in all aspects. When the time is ready, Illyricum Movement will depart and start the church planting process again in another area.
